Musicien de Jazz d’expression Française
Saxophoniste, chanteur, auteur- compositeur, Serge Casero associe dans son travail jazz, chanson française, poésie et théâtre.
Son parcours singulier l’a amené a se produire en 1ere partie de Miles Davis avec le groupe « Kitty Clac » Avec les pianistes Georges Arvanitas ou Kirk Lightsey sur un Hommage à Dexter Gordon CD « Around Dexter ».
Il est nominé dans le cadre du « printemps des poètes » pour son travail de mise en chanson de la poésie de Andrée Chedid.
Avec le disque « Jazz Poets » il est l’invité de l’émission de Helene hazera « Chanson Boom »
Au théâtre il participe à l’adaptation du roman de Patricia Duflot « Jizzy » hommage au chanteur Jimmy Scott.
Actuellement il se produit avec le projet"Mozaic Songs" avec le "French Jazz 5tet" et en duo avec le guitariste Franco-allemand Dano Haider.
Saxophonist, singer, songwriter, Serge Casero defines himself as « French-speaking jazz musician » who combines in his work jazz, French song, poetry and theater. His singular career led him to perform in the first part of Miles Davis with the group « Kitty Clac » With pianists Georges Arvanitas or Kirk Lightsey on a tribute to Dexter Gordon CD « Around Dexter ». He is nominated as part of the « Spring of Poets » for his songwriting work of Andrée Chedid’s poetry. Currently Serge Casero performs with the project « Mozaic Songs » with the "French Jazz 5tet"or as a duo with guitar player Dano Haider.
